How does the draw work?

Group winners head into the draw as a seeded team, while runners-up are marked as unseeded. Seeded teams are drawn against unseeded teams.

Arsenal and Man City cannot face off yet in the competition as no team from the same national association are eligible to play against each other.

Meanwhile, clubs cannot be drawn against a team they previously faced during the group stage.

Who's in the draw?

So Manchester City and Arsenal are through, but who could they face in the next round?

Spain have four teams through to the knockout stages, with Barcelona and Real Madrid joined by Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad.

Meanwhile, both Germany and Italy have three teams each, with all of Serie A's sides making it through as runners-up.

Here is the full list of teams in the hat ahead of today's draw.
