Prayers are coming in for former President Trump after he was seen with blood on his face following shots that rang out at a Pennsylvania rally Saturday afternoon.
Rep. Dan Meuser, R-Pa., was standing front row at the rally along with Reps. Mike Kelly and GOP Senate candidate Dave McCormick.
Meuser said he heard between eight to 10 shots ring out as screams rippled through the crowd, according to Fox News.
He added that it appeared there were multiple people in the crowd may have been impacted by the bullets.
House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote on X: 'Praying for President Trump.'
The Secret Service cleared the area after the former president was rushed off stage after shots ran out.
The protective detail issued a statement shortly after the incident declaring 'the former President is safe.'
'Karen and I are praying for President Trump and urge every American to join us,' said Trump's former Vice President Mike Pence.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries: 'My thoughts and prayers are with former President Trump. I am thankful for the decisive law enforcement response. America is a democracy. Political violence of any kind is never acceptable.'
'Shots fired at Trump rally. Praying for President Trump, his family and our entire nation,' wrote Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody on X.
