Xavier Worthy had an inauspicious start to his life with the Chiefs on Saturday as he dropped his first pass at rookie minicamp.
The former Texas wideout, who was selected No. 28 overall by Kansas City, took the practice field for the first time alongside other rookies and roster hopefuls.
And the session got off to a rough start for the 21-year-old speedster as video captured a ball going right through his hands.
The clip led several fans to joke that Worthy would 'fit right in' in Kansas City, where the Chiefs' receiving corps was extremely drop-happy last season.
The eventual Super Bowl champions led the NFL with 44 drops last regular season.

Fans joked in response to the clip that Worthy would 'fit right in' with the Chiefs' receiver
However, one Chiefs fan preached patience with the youngster, writing on X, 'Ah yes, I also expect my WRs to catch 100% of balls every single rep of every single day of practice for their entire life.
Worthy landed in Kansas City after impressing at Texas collegiately, finishing his junior season with 1,014 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
He'll join a group of pass-catchers spearheaded by Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice and the newly-signed Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown.
However, Rice allegedly caused a car crash involving a half-dozen vehicles on a Dallas highway in March, while speeding at 119mph, and the Chiefs reportedly expect him to be suspended for at least half of the season.

Worthy was seen high-fiving fellow rookie Louis Rees-Zammit during the practice session
Also at practice on Saturday was Chiefs rookie Louis Rees-Zammit, who made a sensational switch from rugby to football in January.
After going through the NFL's International Player Pathway, the Welshman was signed by the Chiefs in March and made his practice debut alongside Worthy this weekend.
The pair was seen exchanging high-fives in one photo as they settled into life in Kansas City.
Rees-Zammit signed a three-year, $2.85million deal with the Chiefs (with only $200,000 guaranteed) while Worthy signed a reported four-year, $13.8million contract.
