The Bengals have sparked fear over the health of Joe Burrow after the quarterback was seen wearing a wrist brace in a now-deleted social media post.

Cincinnati uploaded a clip of the team arriving in Baltimore before Thursday Night Football game against the Ravens.

The post was later deleted by the team but not before eagle-eyed fans spotted Burrow wearing something suspicious on his throwing arm.

The quarterback was seen sporting the same brace in a another video, posted by WCP, which showed Burrow getting off the team bus on Thursday.

Burrow struggled to stay healthy in the early weeks of the 2023 season, as he dealt with a calf problem, but he led Cincinnati to four straight wins before Sunday's surprise defeat by the Houston Texans.

The 2020 No 1 overall pick will be charged with leading the offense against the Ravens

With the Bengals now 5-4, this Thursday Night Football game against the Ravens has taken on even greater signficance.

Cincinnati sits fourth in the AFC North Standings, with 7-3 Baltimore one of three teams - along with the Steelers and Browns - who have a superior record.

Last week, ex-Bengals wide receiver Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson claimed that no one is better under center than an injury-free Burrow. Not even Patrick Mahomes.

'A healthy Joe Burrow is the best quarterback in the NFL,' Johnson, 45, told TMZ.

'You can argue Patrick Mahomes, you can argue what other quarterbacks, but he just is... What he's done for that franchise in such a short amount of time, I mean, how can he not be (the best)?'

Some fans on social media speculated that the 26-year-old, a first-overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, was in fact wearing a sleeve to use with his iPad. The quarterback could be seen holding a tablet in his right hand.

The Bengals will definitely be without wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) and defensive end Sam Hubbard (ankle) for Thursday's game.
