Colorado State University coach Jay Norvell's wife, Kim, fired at Colorado quarterback and Deion Sanders' son Shedeur over a postgame interaction after the Rocky Mountain showdown on September 16.

The interaction happened when Norvell and Colorado coach Deion Sanders approached each other after the final whistle.

After Norvell's 'Congratulations' was met with Sanders' 'God bless', the two coaches got in an exchange about Norvell mentioning his counterpart's family in the buildup to the game. Rather than engaging, Norvell cut the conversation quickly and went his separate way.

'Shadeur [sic] acted like a B when Jay turned his back after trying to talk to his dad,' Kim said in a now deleted tweet. 'And he held up his watch.'

Kim made the comment after the latest episode of the 'Coach Prime' docuseries came out, in which Sanders addressed the interaction with Norvell after Colorado's 43-35 win.

Jay Norvell's wife Kim said Shedeur Sanders 'acted like a B' in an interaction earlier this year

The Colorado State coach's wife has since deleted the comment after posting it on X (Twitter)

The entire interaction centered around Norvell mentioning Sanders' mother before their game

Shedeur stood next to his father and coach throughout the interaction.

As Norvell approached, Shedeur told Deion: 'Don't put your hands on him.'

'You was talking about my mama, dog,' Sanders told Norvell after claiming he never talked about his family.

However, Norvell's comments about Sanders and how he was raised before the game suggested otherwise.

'When I talk to grownups, I take my hat and my glasses off,' Norvell said. 'That's what my mother taught me.'

Shedeur told his father and coach Deion (L) to not put his hands on Norvell following the game

Sanders' mother, Connie, and WWE legend Dwayne Johnson spoke to his team pregame

The remarks added a personal layer to the already heated rivalry between the schools.

Sanders brought his mother, Connie, and WWE legend Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to speak to his players in the locker room before the win.

The back-and-forth between coaches also led tempers to flare between players during warmups. After heated verbal exchanges, both sides had to be separated with Shedeur and teammate Travis Hunter at the center of the fracas.

Shedeur finished the game passing for 348 yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, his older brother and Colorado safety Shilo recorded three tackles and an interception.
