Conor McGregor has confirmed the imminent birth of his and his fiancee's fourth child via a post on social media.

In June, the UFC star confirmed that he and long-term partner Dee Devlin were expecting to add another child to the McGregor clan.

Now, McGregor - who has not stepped foot inside the UFC octagon since July 2021 - has confirmed the imminent arrival of their 'new baby boy'.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday, McGregor wrote: 'Up early tomorrow to bring our new baby boy in to this world, say a prayer for us! Let’s go Mammy'.

He accompanied the post with two pictures of himself and Devlin posing with wide grins as they prepared to head off to the hospital.

McGregor and Devlin already have three children; Conor Jr., Croia Mairhead and Rian - aged six, four and two, respectively.

Back in June, during an appearance on Kelly and Mark, the Irishman revealed the pair 'have got another one on the way'.

'Things are going well,' McGregor said of his family life.

'We've also got another on the way,' he continued, as the live studio audience cheered. 'There's a lot going on' - as is often the case with the 'Notorious' one.

Currently, McGregor is under investigation, according to reports, by Irish police for allegedly 'inciting hate' around the Dublin riots - having blasted the country's government on social media.

The Irish capital has seen mass protests break out on the streets in the last week, triggered by a knife attack that led to three children and one woman being stabbed.

There have since been horrific scenes in the city with windows smashed, police cars set on fire and looting, with as many as 500 thugs gathering in far-right demonstrations after unsubstantiated online rumours that the person behind the stabbing was a foreign national.

UFC star McGregor has been vocal on social media throughout the riots as has been a huge critic of the response by the Irish government - calling for 'change' and a 'plan of action' and adding: 'If they do not act soon to ensure Ireland's safety, I will'.

According to the Irish Mirror, The Irish MMA fighter is now being investigated by the Irish police - also known as gardai - over allegedly inciting hate following an assessment of his social media posts.

The report adds that his posts are being looked at as part of a 'wider official criminal probe', with three investigations underway.

McGregor has insisted he does not condone the riots ongoing after responding to a social post by Britain First leader Paul Golding depicting him in front of a burning bus.

He did insist that change was needed in the country in a lengthy and emotional post last week.
