Conor McGregor informed Mike Perry that he is fired from his bare-knuckle promotion after his sixth-round knockout defeat by Jake Paul.
The 32-year-old Bare Knuckle Fighting champion was a last-minute replacement for Mike Tyson after the boxing legend pulled out of his proposed showdown and Paul.
But Perry took a beating against the Youtuber-turned-boxer, hitting the canvas three times before the referee stopped the bout early. McGregor, who is a part owner of BKFC, was unimpressed by Perry's display.
And he blasted the fighter after the bout, claiming that he has been released from the promotion and even joked that Perry can instead fight on his new 'Dirty Boxing Championship'.
'Hey Mike, you're released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing, the smell of it, good luck. You're fired,' the two-time UFC champion wrote on X.

The Irishman added: 'Perry took a pay cut to take that fight btw. It was a wish of his. Astounding. He will not be offered a return to the BKFC ring. He can do a few matches of his new dirty boxing thing with the MMA sparring gloves he has set up. We wish him well. Wish granted.'
The post has since been deleted. Perry has enjoyed success in BKFC since his UFC departure. He has five big wins to his name, including victories over ex-UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.
For his part, Perry bit back and insisted that McGregor does not have the authority to kick him out of BKFC. He also also urged the 36-year-old to take on Paul for himself.
'He doesn't have permission because we're both owners of BKFC so he cant fire me.' Perry said post-fight. 'We can fight in bare-knuckle. Look at me, I lost to Jake Paul, why doesn't he fight Jake Paul in boxing with gloves on? I think it'll be worst than his fight with Floyd Mayweather.'
McGregor also fired considerable shade in the direction of Paul following his 10th professional win. The Irishman berated Paul for his choice of opponent.
McGregor brutally claimed to have fired Perry from the promotion that he part owns
'40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still s***ting himself in there. Nakisa you should take him to Vegas oh that's right you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting.
'B***h a**es. You could never. And then calling out 60 year old Mike Tyson fresh off an in flight medical emergency? I swear to god, a fat can of b***h p***. Most valuable p***bag.'
