There was chaos last night at one of Sydney's most popular beaches after a person plunged to their death from a nearby cliff.
The tragedy unfolded at Dunningham Reserve, on the northern headland of Coogee Beach in Sydney's east on Thursday night.
Emergency crews raced to the scene, where the Toll rescue helicopter landed at the reserve.

One local wrote on social media that they 'could hear all the sirens go down the street'.
A shocked witness claimed that they overheard emergency responders saying they could not find the victim's pulse.
A NSW Police spokesperson confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the person who fell had died.
NSW Ambulance was contacted for comment.
A 17-year-old boy died at the same cliff face in January 2023 after falling 15 metres onto the rocks below.
