He may be known for his impressive aim on the dart board but, after partaking in a football crossbar challenge, Luke Littler proved that his abilities transcend sport.

The teenage sensation has been spending recent months climbing up the Darts Premier League table, where he sits top despite his recent defeat to Michael van Gerwen.

However, amidst his push for the title, Littler has also found time to get out onto the football pitch for a YouTube video - where he impressed with his shooting skills.

Alongside online content creators Pieface23, Angryginge13, Bateson87 and FG, who he plays with in an EA Sports FC Pro Club team, Littler took on a traditional crossbar challenge.

Few would have predicted the performance from the 17-year-old, who walked up and smashed his first effort - from outside the box - onto the crossbar.

The teenage star hit the crossbar twice, out of three attempts, during a brief stint on the pitch

Littler is known for his accuracy on the dart board but proved his talents with football as well

As his YouTube friends were still reacting, Littler then took his next shot which, similarly, smacked the upright with precision.

His third and final effort fell just below the bar but the previous two shots were enough to prove that the darts star also has skills on the football pitch.

The teenager was wearing a Man United training top as he partook in the challenge, having previously expressed his support for the Red Devils.

At the start of the month, Littler joined in with a United chant just moments before his Premier League victory.

The darts star was serenaded with the famous 'we've seen it all, we've won the lot' chant before his walk on at the AO Arena in Manchester - where he beat Gerwyn Price 6-3 in the final.

The teenage star, who enjoyed a maiden victory in Belfast last week, was happy to give United fans in attendance something to cheer about.

The YouTubers he filmed with were left stunned by the 17-year-old's impressive ball-striking

Little remains top of the Premier League table, four points ahead of Van Gerwen and two clear of Luke Humphires

'We were watching backstage, we were winning 3-2 and we conceded a penalty and Cole Palmer scored and then he scored again,' Littler said.

'I was in a bad mood, I was like, 'I'm winning this now'. It gave me motivation.

'There were a few Manchester United fans on the walkout so I was glad to win.'
