A Spanish model and influencer has claimed her father - a former LaLiga boss - banned her from from dating footballers - and now keeps them as friends instead.

Nadia Jemez, 24, has grown up around football for much of her life after her dad enjoyed a 17-year playing career in Spain and picked up 21 caps for his country before going on to manage 12 clubs.

Nadia has become a major public figure in Spain and has a huge profile on social media, with 350,000 people following her Instagram page - and a further 295,000 on TikTok

She regularly entertains her fans with bikini snaps, dancing videos, viral clips and photoshoots, while also giving an insight to her life by posting her shopping trips and make-up tutorials.

Nadia is also active on the streaming platform Twitch, where she has more than 1,000 subscribers.

Spanish model Nadia Jemez has claimed her father - a former LaLiga manager - forbade her from dating footballers

The 24-year-old is a high profile social media personality with 350,000 followers on Instagram

Her father is Paco Jemez, who played 21 times for Spain and has managed Spanish top tier clubs Rayo Vallecano and Granada

Her father is Paco Jemez, who formerly managed Spanish top tier clubs such as Rayo Vallecano and Granada - while he has also managed Mexican side Cruz Azul.

In an interview with the La Influencia podcast, via German outlet Bild, she said he had instructed her not to date any footballers and that she has listened to his advice ever since - claiming she has had 'no problems' having friendships with them instead.

'My father always told me never to be with a footballer,' she said. 'And I've never been with a footballer or kissed a footballer. Never.'

As a player, former centre-back Jemez made 433 appearances, featuring for clubs Deportivo La Coruna and Real Zaragoza, who he played 168 times for.

Nadia said she has instead kept friendships with players as she recounted the time her father 'freaked out' when she started her modelling career

After becoming a manager in 2007, he started to become more protective of his daughter as she started gaining more attention following her introduction into the modelling world.

Nadia recounted a bizarre story from his time managing Mexican side Cruz Azul, alleging that members of the press had asked her father for photos of her.

'The sports press in Mexico is more of a tabloid press,' she added. '[They are] very interested in the lives of football players and coaches. And they asked my father for my photos. They asked him at press conferences about the games.'

Nadia - who also revealed she is training to become a notary - went on to say that her father was 'freaked out' when she began her career after being introduced on Playboy Mexico, saying he had vowed to 'report certain people' because she was just 17 at the time.

Last year Jemez hit out at former Barcelona star Gerard Pique for being 'reckless' while she was a passenger in his car

Last year she gave an interview to Mundo Deportivo where she reflected on an evening spent with former Barcelona star Gerard Pique, who she claims had driven her in his car and shown a 'reckless' attitude by speeding and 'disregarding' traffic lights.

Pique split with singer Shakira in 2022 after 11 years together.

'I don't feel obligated to show respect towards him because he has not demonstrated good behavior towards others,' she was quoted as saying.

'He thought it was incredibly cool to disregard all the traffic lights. Why? Well, I don't know, he believed it was justified. Furthermore, he recklessly entered a parking lot at a speed of over 100 kilometers per hour.

'He humiliated me. I do not trust him as a person. I believe this was the first and last time I will ever meet him. I truly felt the need to address this matter.'
