Dave Portnoy bagged $1.6 million from the Boston Celtics securing their 18th franchise title on Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks.

After besting Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, and the Mavs in five games, Jayson Tatum, Jalen Brown, and Co. won the first title for Boston since 2008.

While the team celebrated with green and white confetti at TD Garden, the Barstool Sports chief basked in another big win on a future wager. Portnoy turned a $100,000 bet into a massive payday by parlaying the Celtics' title win with Scottie Scheffler winning RBC Heritage.

'It's not about the money but I'll take the quick 1.6 milly,' Portnoy wrote on X with a screenshot of his bet slip.

Additionally, Portnoy went on a tirade, firing shots at Irving - a former Celtic with a bitter history with the city of Boston.

'Kyrie has been totally vanquished,' Portnoy said about the Mavericks' point guard. 'An absolute no show in the most important game of his life.'

'This will be my last anti Kyrie post for the foreseeable future. The Celtics and the city of Boston put him in our back pocket. He stomped on the logo and then got stomped out.'

As they have been all series, Celtics fans were hostile towards their ex-player.

Irving, who played for the Celtics from 2017-2019, has maintained a bitter relationship with the team's fanbase since his turbulent departure to Brooklyn concluded a disappointing run with the C's.

Irving's time in Boston came on the heels of his tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he won a championship in 2016.

Portnoy celebrated by ripping at former Celtic Kyrie Irving after a heated five-game series

However, much of the buildup led to disappointment, and Irving would join Kevin Durant and James Harden in the failed Brooklyn Nets experiment from 2019-2023.

None of Irving's visits to Massachusetts have been pleasant since. The former Duke star memorably flipped fans off behind his head. In another incident, a fan got thrown out of the arena for allegedly chucking a water bottle at Irving.

The not-so-friendly receptions continued as Irving returned to Beantown for the season finale in his old stomping grounds.

Celtics fans went as far as taping Irving's face onto a blowup doll before Game 1 and wearing t-shirts showing his face with a clown nose.

The Celtics took a commanding 3-0 lead but lost Game 4 before winning the title at home

Nevertheless, the Celtics got the best of Irving and the Mavs with a 106-88 win in Game 5 to close the series. Following the game, Portnoy posted a video smoking a celebratory cigar while wearing a Celtics hat and a 'world champions' t-shirt.

'I love everyone chirping: 'Hey, you gotta take the tinfoil [or] whatever that is off the cigar,'' he said in the clip before taking a big puff.

'Listen, when you win banner [No] 18, when your team wins the NBA title, when you got more rings, more banners in your city than you know what to do with, then you can tell me how to smoke a cigar.'
