David Beckham has seemingly thrown his weight behind Las Vegas' attempt to have a MLS expansion team in the future.
San Diego was announced as the newest expansion team in American soccer back in May and will join in 2025, when MLS will grow to 30 teams.
But Sin City is quickly reestablishing itself as a sporting powerhouse with the relocation of the Oakland Athletics baseball team earlier this month the latest piece of their growing empire.
The city has already welcomed the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team from Oakland, too, as well as the Las Vegas Golden Knights, who became an NHL expansion team in 2016.
Vegas also hosted its first Formula One race since 1982 last week and the city also remains a hub for high-profile UFC and boxing events.

So that only really leaves space for soccer and basketball in their hugely impressive portfolio.
And soccer could be on its way sooner than you think thanks to the backing of Beckham, who is a co-owner of relatively new MLS expansion team Inter Miami.
The former England captain said: 'It's a real opportunity. We've seen the hockey team come in and do incredibly well, and obviously the Raiders being here.
'In the future, who knows with MLS and if a team comes here to Vegas.'

The Manchester United legend was also asked about his thoughts of the World Cup potentially coming to Las Vegas in less then three years time, even though the city isn't technically part of FIFA's list to host games.
'To be honest, I'm personally excited because the last World Cup was such a huge success,' Beckham said.
'I'm obviously excited around World Cup year but I think it's another moment, especially after being an owner of a MLS team.
'The lead up to this World Cup [in America, Canada and Mexico] I think is going to be really exciting and it's going to be showcased in the way it should be showcased. So, I'm personally excited.
'Obviously, Las Vegas gets to host one of the games, who knows... But if it does, then I think it's going to be spectacular.'
