A man's body has been found in an apartment block carpark on Sydney's northern beaches.
The discovery was made after police were called to Ilikai Place, Dee Why, at 7.11am on Monday following a report from a member of the public.
Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command found the man, whose age is still unknown, dead at the scene.
Daily Mail Australia understands the man's body was found in the carpark of a unit complex on the quiet residential street.
Police have set up a crime scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
A next-door neighbour of the dead man told Daily Mail Australia the unit complex was generally a quiet place to live.
‘I didn't hear or see anything, it’s usually a pretty quiet building,’ local resident Kassan said.
‘It’s a very very scary thing to happen, I've lived in the building eight months and found out about it when the police arrived this morning.’
