Detroit Lions punter Jack Fox showed up in a full-body armor costume as he prepares to take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Fox opted for the look of a knight when arriving ahead of the NFC North matchup, which pits the first-place Lions against the 3-7 Bears.
The inspiration for the costume is unclear, but Detroit fans will be hoping their punter is ready to go into battle with Chicago at Ford Field.
NFL players traditionally wear a nice outfit or team merchandise into the locker room before a game.
However, Fox's choice of attire was clearly not in either of those categories.

Fox has punted the ball 28 times this season, with 14 of those landing inside the 20-yard line.
He is in his fifth season in the NFL, after going undrafted in 2019.
The 27-year-old has nearly spent his entire career with the Lions after starting as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad.
Fox made his only Pro Bowl in 2020 and played collegiately at Rice.
The Lions enter today's matchup in first place in the NFC North at 7-2.
Chicago is in last place in the NFC North at 3-7.
