Police have launched an investigation after a man was left with a broken jaw following disgraceful scenes at a local footy match.
Emergency services were called to Wentworth Park Oval in Glebe, New South Wales at around 7.30pm on Monday after a 38-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by two rival male players during a game of OzTag.
Footage of the alleged incident shows both assailants punch the man at the same time from different angles. He was then kicked while on the ground.
The two men fled the scene before the police arrived.
The alleged victim was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
A 38-year-old man was left with a broken jaw following a sickening attack at an OzTag match
He is in a stable condition and was discharged with a broken jaw, according to Chris O'Keefe on 2GB.
Bill Harrigan, a former NRL referee and the boss of OzTag, said: 'Sickening. I had to replay it a couple of times because it's horrific. It's one of the worst that I've seen.
'Disgraceful. That's the only way to put it.
'I've spoken to the referee, I've spoken with the licensee of Wentworth Park Oz Tag, I have spoken to the police today. I've also spoken to the victim. I was surprised when he answered the phone, he told me exactly what happened, it's just a horrific set of circumstances.
'So what's going to happen, police are investigating now, detectives have got hold of it. I'm glad somebody took video of it so we can do something about it. Australian Oz Tag will not have those players play ever again.'

It has also been alleged that the thug who kicked the man while he was done was armed with a knife.
'That is the allegation that has been made,' Harrigan confirmed. 'Apparently that player was taunting some of the people there saying he had a knife and "do you want some."'
'Regardless of what happens with the police investigation, those blokes will not play Oz Tag again.'
