A devastated Kieran Tierney held his face and was comforted by Andy Robertson as he was stretchered off during Scotland's clash with Swizterland.
The Arsenal defender suffered what looked like a serious leg blow as he competed for the ball with Dan Ndoye in the second half of the Euro 2024 clash.
Scotland's medics rushed on to treat Tierney and he was taken off with the game finely poised at 1-1.
Tierney, who suffered three seperate injuries last season on loan at Real Sociedad, has seen his career blighted by a litany of setbacks.
Newcastle have reportedly been interested in the 27-year-old left-back, who is due to return to Arsenal after the Euros.
