Donald Trump has released a letter from his doctor saying he has an 'excellent' bill of health on Joe Biden's 81st birthday.
The 77-year-old former president posted the note from New Jersey-based Bruce Aronwald saying he has lost weight and his cognitive exams 'were exceptional'.
Trump's rivals in the presidential race have started to point to his age as a factor in his run for president.
Now Trump has hit back by sharing a glowing review from his physician saying dieting and 'daily physical activity' have paid off, and he could live for 'years' to come.
Donald Trump has released a letter from his doctor saying he has an 'excellent' bill of health on Joe Biden's 81st birthday.
'I have been President Donald J. Trump's personal physician since 2021,' Aronwald wrote.
'During this time, I have conducted several comprehensive examinations, the most recent being September 12, 2023, and have supervised specialist consultations along with ancillary testing for screening and preventative health maintenance.'
'I am pleased to report that President Trump's overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within the normal range and his cognitive exams were exceptional,' he wrote.
'In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis remains well within normal limits and was even more favorable than prior testing in some of the most significant parameters, most likely secondary to weight reduction'.
He said he weighed 215 pounds, a drop of 25 pounds from his arrest in Manhattan four months earlier.
His most recent weight is below what White House physician Dr. Sean Conley reported in 2020 when he said Trump was 244 pounds during a physical.
When Trump had his physical with former White House Physician Dr. Ronny Jackson (now a Trump loyalist House member from Texas), Trump's height was listed as 6-feet 3-inches and 239 pounds.
