Drew McIntyre reportedly stormed out after the end of the main event of WWE's Survivor Series 2023 following the dramatic return of CM Punk.

Punk ended his nine-year hiatus from the WWE in dramatic fashion, returning to the biggest stage after the main event.

The 45-year-old has recently spent a couple of years with the second biggest wrestling promotion in the world, AEW.

Punk controversially left WWE the night after the Royal Rumble in 2014 while citing creative frustrations, but also anger at the lack of medical care taken with him at the time.

But not everyone was happy to see him back, as it was reported McIntyre reportedly stormed of the Allstate Arena following the main event and slammed his locker room door.

It is unknown why McIntyre was so upset by the return of Punk, but he was not the only star to react this way.

Seth Rollins had to be physically restrained by Michael Cole and Corey Graves as he yelled expletives and gave the middle finger at Punk when he appeared.

Several sources say when McIntyre was backstage he grabbed a hoodie and 'immediately' left.

It was said that numerous people saw that McIntyre was incredibly angry, but it’s unknown why.

His actions were said to have been 'loud and obvious' and there were many people in the backstage area who witnessed the incident.

WWE legend and Chief Content Officer Triple H recently shed some light on the process of bringing someone like Punk back.

'This was one of those lightning in a bottle moments that came together very quickly, but we are incredibly excited about it.' he said.

'It's been a long time and in some ways been a long time coming. You know, you can say this about CM Punk. Love him, hate him, positive, negative, whatever you want to say, people talk about him all the time.
