The Edmonton Oilers fan who went viral for flashing her boobs at a game has spoken out on Instagram for the first time about the incident.

Kate - she hasn't revealed her full name - appeared on Barstools' Spittin' Chiclets podcast last week and has now shared a video Instagram addressing her new fame.

'Hey everybody, Oilers girl,' she said. 'Actually, my name is Kate. I've been doing a lot of thinking but here we are. So I've thought long and hard about what I've wanted to say to everybody.

'Anybody who knows me knows I am at one of my favorite places right now. I came here to do some thinking.

'I just wanted to say you can be the most perfect, godly f***ing person in the world, you can save kittens from a river if they were drowning - someone is still going to hate you.

The Edmonton Oilers fan who went viral for flashing her boobs at a game has spoken out on Instagram

'So you know what? At the end of the day, I got drunk and whipped my t**s out at an Oilers game and they went viral. F*** you if you don't like it. Woo! Go Oilers.'

Last week, the 'Oilers flasher' revealed what went down during the Oilers' Game 5 win against the Dallas Stars in the NHL Conference Finals that made her become the face of the internet overnight on May 31.

'You know, what... I don't know,' she said at first, when asked for her reason behind flashing her breast on Spittin' Chiclets. 'The handful of Cheezies that I ate all day and the eight Trulys I drank in the first period was definitely inspiring.'

Kate, dubbed as the 'most mysterious woman in hockey' after internet users were having a hard time to identify her, then confirmed that she was at the live game, and not at a watch party at the time she showed off her boobs.

The Oilers will need some inspiration to come back against the Panthers, as they're 3-1 down

'We were all going crazy. It wasn't planned or anything... and yeah it just kind of happened,' she continued.

Former NHL star and podcast co-host, Paul Bissonnette, asked what 'a lot of people had' inquired about, when he wanted to know if the bosoms were actually real.

'No they are not,' Kate, who works on an oil field in Canada, admitted.

The flasher deleted all of her social media accounts in the aftermath of her boobs going viral and even unintentionally lured offers from porn sites.

The Oilers return to action against the Florida Panthers in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Tuesday night. Edmonton trails in the series, 3-1.
