Musk stayed in the Pittsburgh area a day after he appeared on stage with Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Trump's rally was his return to the site where there was an assassination attempt on him in the middle of July.
Despite being the CEO and owner of X, Musk has maintained his support for Trump throughout the election cycle.

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown said on X on Friday that he planned to be at the game as part of his voter-registration push in the state of Pennsylvania.
Brown did not show up at the game, despite support from Musk on X on his posts about the election.
The Cowboys converted a fourth down from inside the Pittsburgh 5-yard line on a Dak Prescott passing touchdown to Jalen Tolbert to win the game 20-17.
The Steelers last-ditch attempt to win on a hook-and-ladder play failed as the Cowboys picked up the loose ball on an unsuccessful pitch to win the game.
It is unclear how much of the game Musk stayed for, as he was not shown on the broadcast after the game's rain delay.
