Poulter, who is a product of Reading’s academy, was part of the squad that helped England’s U19 side qualify for this summer’s European Championship.

The shot-stopper is expected to be named in the squad that will travel to Lithuania for the tournament in July.

England will play the tournament hosts on July 14, Serbia on July 17 and France on July 20 as they bid to reach the knockout stages.

The full squad for the tournament will be named in the week commencing July 8.
