Erik ten Hag and Anthony Martial were seen arguing with each other during Manchester United's game against Newcastle on Saturday night.
Ten Hag was furious with the striker for failing to track back as a Newcastle almost resulted in a goal for Miguel Almiron.
He remonstrated with the 27-year-old, having clearly been incensed at his perceived lack of effort.
Martial seemed to not take the criticism lying down, though, and was seen waving his arms in frustration at his manager.
His evening did not get any better after that as he was hauled off in the 61st minute, with Erik ten Hag making a double change after his side fell behind to an Anthony Gordon tap-in.

Ten Hag has had his struggles within his own squad since taking over last summer, particularly regarding some of his biggest stars.
He first had a very public falling out with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, but has since ostracised £73m man Jadon Sancho for disciplinary reasons and is now facing a row with Raphael Varane.
And he may now have an issue with Martial after their public disagreement on Saturday night.
Jermaine Jenas slammed Marcus Rashford for his lack of effort overall poor first half performance
Dutch manager Ten Hag is facing trouble across Manchester United's star-studded squad
Jermaine Jenas also blasted Marcus Rashford for his 'criminal' lack of effort in the first half at St James' Park. Rashford was taken off alongside Martial in the second half, with Rasmus Hojlund and Antony replacing the duo.
Speaking on Discovery+ at half-time Jenas said: 'I think it was poor I think his body language was shocking throughout the game too many moments throwing his arms about.
'I feel like he's sending a message to his manager almost, like 'I don't want to play out here.'
'Things like that is criminal it really is, putting your team under that type of pressure by not doing your duties as a wide man to be tracking back.'
