Erik ten Hag is set to sign a new deal at Manchester United with an extension between the two parties now close to being agreed, according to reports.
The Dutchman was believed to be facing the sack at Old Trafford prior to United's FA Cup final triumph over derby rivals Man City and a new contract has been a priority since his stay was confirmed.
Ten Hag has won two trophies in his first two seasons at United amid the backdrop of uncertainty at the club that was largely caused by the ownership takeover that eventually ended with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS acquiring a stake in the club.
INEOS have been given sporting control at United and have led talks with Ten Hag over extending his stay, with negotiations now at an advanced stage and set to be concluded this week, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
The majority of demands have already been agreed and Ten Hag's representatives are now waiting to agree on final terms with the Man United head coach.
