ESPN has unveiled its coverage plans for Caitlin Clark's WNBA regular-season debut, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun.

The network boasts a 'WNBA Finals-level production setup' for tomorrow's game with multiple camera angles, including options to view the game below and above the rim, roving handheld cameras, and players being mic'd for the game, per a network press release.

The game will take place as part of a league doubleheader on ESPN2, with the Las Vegas Aces taking on the Phoenix Mercury in the latter contest.

Before Clark has her first official action in the WNBA, ESPN is planning a live version of 'WNBA Countdown', which will also have a 30-minute segment in-between Clark's debut and the Aces' start in their quest to three-peat as league champions.

Clark's second game of her WNBA career will also be part of a doubleheader on national television. Instead of ESPN2, the Fever's Saturday game against the New York Liberty will air at 1 p.m. on ABC.

Caitlin Clark has been at the forefront in the skyrocket in interest in women's basketball

Clark will make her WNBA debut on Tuesday night with a huge television audience expected

ESPN is rolling out the red carpet for Clark due to the attention she has brought to women's basketball.

During her time at Iowa, where Clark set the NCAA's overall scoring record, she was part of all four record-breaking games in terms of viewership over a 13-month span.

A Clark-led Hawkeyes team saw viewership for their national-championship loss to South Carolina skyrocket to 18.7million viewers, beating the men's March Madness final by more than 4million viewers.

After Clark was drafted No 1 overall by Indiana in last month's WNBA Draft, and a preseason sellout for a road game against the Dallas Wings, the league is betting on her having a similar effect to start her professional career.

The second half of Saturday's doubleheader will see the Aces featured again, this time against the Los Angeles Sparks.
