Tony Khan believes this season's Jacksonville Jaguars are 'the strongest the organization has been' during his family's time in charge.
Doug Pederson's Jaguars are 8-3 for the season and maintained their grip on the AFC South with a 24-21 win over the Texans on Sunday.
The Jaguars also currently hold the third seed in the AFC but the race for the No. 1 spot is wide open with the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens.
Khan's father, Shahid, acquired the team in 2011, and they have won the AFC South and made the playoffs just twice - both in 2017 and 2022 - during his tenure.
But Khan, who is the Jaguars' chief football strategy officer, believes they are well set for a playoff run this time around.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Khan said: 'This is certainly the strongest the Jaguars organization has been in my family's time in Jacksonville and my own time working for the Jaguars, which is 12 years, this is my 12th season working in the NFL.
'And I think that the entire organization is stronger than it's been, certainly in our tenure at the Jaguars with the quality, the quality of the players in the squad and the incredibly high standard Doug Pederson sets for himself and the coaching staff.
'Trent Baalke is doing a tremendous job building this roster so that we have a top squad and I do believe we have one of the best squads in the NFL and can compete with any team in the NFL for any game.
'There's a lot of excitement around the world right now about the Jaguars.
Josh Allen came up with 1.5 sacks to headline a strong defensive stand late in the fourth quarter to helping the Jaguars edge the Texans on Sunday.
Jacksonville led 24-14 after Brandon McManus made a 53-yard field goal with 11:20 remaining in the game.

But the Texans rallied, pulling within three when C.J. Stroud found Nico Collins for a 17-yard touchdown with 5:15 left.
After forcing a punt, Houston took over at its own 11-yard line. Allen dropped Stroud for a loss of 15 yards on the fifth play of the drive, but three plays later, the Texans found themselves at the Jaguars' 37.
That's when Allen teamed up with Travon Walker for another sack, this one for a loss of 9.
Houston would end up getting to 39, but Matt Ammendola didn't have enough leg on a 58-yard field goal attempt with 29 seconds to go, allowing Jacksonville to escape with the win.
Trevor Lawrence completed 23 of 38 passes for 364 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Jaguars. Calvin Ridley had five catches for 89 yards and a TD.
