This is the extraordinary moment a man chased police officers with a chainsaw.
The shocking incident which saw the man, dressed in a grey top and black trousers, run after an officer on a quiet residential road while wielding the large weapon.
He was heard yelling while running down the middle of Glasgow Road in Paisley, Renfrewshire this afternoon.
A silver police vehicle also smashed into a wall following the chase, which left two officers injured and requiring treatment from paramedics.

In a second video, officers restrained the individual on a pavement with help from members of the public.
A statement from Police Scotland: 'Around 1pm on Monday, 6 May, 2024, a disturbance involving a weapon occurred following a collision involving a car and a stationary police vehicle on Glasgow Road in Paisley.
'There is no wider risk to the public and officers remain at the scene while enquires are ongoing.
'Glasgow Road is closed between Buchlyvie Road and Allanton Avenue. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use an alternative route.'
