Rickie Fowler shot a brutal 10-over and finished last at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday on Friday.
The fan favorite's quest to get out of his slump got halted when he struggled through the first two rounds at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio.
The Memorial Tournament is one of three signature events featuring a 36-hole cut. Like Tiger Woods' Genesis Invitational and the Arnold Palmer Invitational, this week's field is cut to the low 50 and ties and other players within ten strokes of the lead after the first two rounds.
Fowler shot 76-82 this week, which places him outside the cut line. The line was expected to fall at either 4- or 5- over par at the end of his second round.
His unfortunate finish at the tournament comes months after his supposed road to redemption was featured on Netflix's 'Full Swing' docuseries in March.

Fowler was not the only big name to struggle this week, as Justin Rose also succumbed to the challenges of Muirfield Village's course. Rose shot 80-73, placing him outside the cut with Fowler.
After ending a four-year winless drought at last year's Rocket Mortgage Classic, Fowler is 108th in the FedExCup standings with just one top-25 finish in 2024.
