Fans have claimed that Achraf Hakimi was driving the Morocco team bus at the Olympics in Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Hakimi is captaining the Morocco side at the Olympics.

A video has gone viral of the Morocco team bus, with the driver bearing a close resemblance to Hakimi.


One fan was adamant that it was Hakimi. They wrote: 'That’s the last thing you’d expect. Bus driver Hakimi'.

Meanwhile, another commented: 'Hakimi driving the Moroccan Olympic team bus Can your right back do this'.

Furthermore, another wrote: 'Achraf Hakimi was seen driving the Moroccan Olympic team bus' accompanied by three crying with laughter emojis.

Hakimi featured as Morocco got their group stage campaign off to a good start with a 2-1 win against Argentina on Wednesday.

A brace from Soufiane Rahimi, which included a penalty, had seen Morocco establish a two-goal lead before Giuliano Simeone got a goal back. 

25-year-old Hakimi is one of the three overage players in the Morocco squad along with Rahimi and goalkeeper Munir Mohamedi.

Morocco will face Ukraine on Saturday in their next feature before taking on Iraq in their final group game.

Hakimi has 77 senior caps for Morocco. As well as PSG, he has played for a host of high-profile clubs including Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan.
