Concerned fans were petrified Daniel Ricciardo could have potentially re-injured his hand after he trained with former UFC champion Max Holloway this week.
A series of images were posted to Instagram on Thursday showing the two athletes hard at work during a gym session - and it didn't take long for comments to circulate online globally.
It also comes ahead of Las Vegas hosting a F1 race this Sunday (5pm, AEDT), with anticipation at fever pitch levels following a 41-year absence.

Training closely with Holloway was typical of the brash Aussie, but given he suffered a hand injury in October, his legion of fans were concerned it would be a case of sporting deja vu.
