Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo surprised thousands of Aussie music fans by appearing on stage to sing with country music superstar Zach Bryan at a sold-out show in Melbourne.

Bryan, 27, is currently Down Under on his Quittin' Time Tour, performing at Flemington Racecourse on Saturday night.

Ricciardo, who is known for his singing skills, was brought onto the stage along with Irish singer and songwriter Dermot Kennedy at the end of the night.

In several clips posted to social media, the trio can be seen delivering a rowdy rendition of Bryan's hit song 'Revival'.

The F1 star delighted fans with his unexpected appearance on Saturday evening

Fans were gobsmacked by Ricciardo's unexpected appearance during the show, and many who weren't in attendance wished they had bought a ticket.

'If you saw Daniel Ricciardo sing revival with Zach Bryan don't ever speak to me, you are living my dream,' wrote one fan on X.

'Zach Bryan and Daniel Ricciardo and I wasn't there to see it?!,' replied another.

'Daniel Ricciardo went on stage and sang revival with Zach Bryan in Australia and now I will never recover,' said a third.

The eight-time grand prix winner has long been a fan of Bryan's music, even sharing a clip of himself to social media singing 'Revival' in early 2023.

The 34-year-old has also filmed himself belting out Matchbox 20's smash 1997 single '3AM' as he cruised down a freeway - which didn't escape the attention of the band.

'If you're ever looking for a side gig outside of @F1 let us know @danielricciardo!' the band wrote on Twitter.

The Aussie has some experience in the music industry after scoring a guest appearance on a Gang Of Youths album playing drums and backing vocals in 2020.

The Aussie is known for his love of singing, often posting clips of himself to social media belting out his favourites

He has expressed interest in returning to his old team next season where he wants to race alongside and beat ex-teammate and world champion Max Verstappen.
