Football fans have called for the return of 'the greatest football show of all time' after ITV announced they will air the remainder of the Serie A season.
The broadcaster announced a series of matches in the Italian top-flight will be aired for free between now and the end of the season, prompting calls for a certain host to return to screens.
James Richardson currently hosts The UEFA Goals Show on TNT and World's Strongest Man on Channel 5, and previously rose to fame on Football Italia in the 90s.
The Channel 4 show aired for 10-years after first hitting screens in 1992 with Richardson hosting football round-up show Gazzetta Football Italia on Saturday mornings.
ITV announced plans to stage eight matches during the end of season run-in as Inter close in on lifting the Scudetto for a 20th time, with the first match being shown on Saturday evening.

Empoli's match against Torino will kick-off the broadcaster's schedule and fans have demanded that Richardson is brought in as the show host.

Another added: 'Only one host for the job' alongside a picture of a smiling Richardson.

Revealing their new deal with the Italian league, ITV explained they will show one match per week to UK viewers.
Bologna v Monza on Saturday April 13 will be the second free-to-air game, before Udinese travel to Verona a week later, with more games set to be unveiled.
