The son of Premier League cult hero Tim Cahill has followed in his father's footsteps by joining a top flight club in England after signing for Nottingham Forest.
Shae Cahill, 19, has signed a two-year contract with Forest after a spell in Australia with the Brisbane Roar.
The central midfielder was supported by his father and Everton legend Tim, 44, as he was officially unveiled in the east midlands on Thursday.
The former Socceroos captain shared the exciting news on Instagram: 'Congratulations,' he said. 'We are all so proud of you and enjoy this next chapter.'
Shae, who played in the Toffees academy before moving to Brisbane, told the club's official website: 'I'm so happy and excited to start this next chapter with Nottingham Forest. I want to thank everyone at the club and my family for supporting me.
'My goals are to train hard and to dedicate myself to being the best I can be, making both my family and the football club proud.'

Shae will begin in the academy and hope to work his way into Nuno Espirito Santo's first team squad.
'We are delighted to welcome Shae to Nottingham Forest and are excited to see how he integrates into the B Team group,' said the club's Head of Academy, Chris McGuane.
'Shae has had first team experience out in Australia and is joining the Club hungry to improve as a player.'
