AFL legend Warwick Capper has opened up about why he sold his brothel in Melbourne's southeast, as the property goes up for sale with a price tag of $2.2m.
Capper gave Daily Mail Australia an exclusive tour of the establishment in 2023, after purchasing Westminster Secrets in Oakleigh, Melbourne for 'six figures' and completely overhauling the interiors.
The larrikin explained he snapped up the brothel because of its connection to his childhood.
'I grew up here. House is only a kilometre away. It sort of feels like home,' he said.

The property is now up for sale with a price tag of $2.2m and has no shortage of interest
'I played football about half a kilometre away. Oakleigh Youth Club. Just thought it would be a good fit.'
He wasted no time turning the seven-year-old establishment around once he got his hands on it.
Spending 'a couple hundred' grand on renovations, Capper re-tiled and re-painted every inch of the six-bedroom building.
In April, Capper decided to sell his share in the business so he could concentrate on his other interests.
'I just had enough, I've got plenty of other things happening,' he told the Herald Sun.
One of these projects, if rumours are to be believed, is a Netflix show that documents his unique life.
The brothel, now called Cherry Tree Garden, has a three-year lease at the address and can be extended afterwards.
Jonathan Lan, from ASL Real Estate, said the two-story brothel has six rooms with showers.
The media personality has tried his hand at modelling, porn, becoming a DJ and politics since his retirement from the AFL in 1991

The establishment also has CCTV throughout common areas, a staffroom, locker room and reception area.
'There's a number of investors showing genuine interest,' Mr Lan said.

First rising to fame as a player for the Sydney Swans and Brisbane Bears, Capper has since become a prominent pop culture figure.
Retiring from AFL in 1991, he has stayed in the public eye thanks to his highly-publicised and often bizarre career ventures.
He has announced plans to become a male stripper, sold a sex tape in 2009, and even tried to run against Pauline Hanson in the 2009 Queensland state election.
