NRL star Andrew Fifita has been forced to delete a polarising social media post after he accused two NSW Central Coast footy clubs of being racist.
Fifita, 35, who won an NRL premiership with the Sharks in 2016, is playing park footy for the Woy Woy Roosters and is the highest profile player in the competition.
The decorated prop has come under fire after claiming on Instagram the Terrigal Sharks and Erina Eagles were 'supporting racism' by forfeiting recent games against Woy Woy.
'Stand up, speak out, and support us. No one should endure this,' Fifita posted.
'Terrigal Sharks and Erina Eagles, thank you for the points, but not for supporting racism. Some clubs refuse to play us because we refuse to be bystanders.
'Toukley Hawks, let's see what you will do next week. Blak [sic], Loud & Proud.'
Fifita was ordered by to delete the post after the NSWRL and Rugby League Central Coast board pointed to the code's policies and procedures edict.
Terrigal and Erina wouldn't play Woy Woy as they had concerns about the safety of their fans, according to News Corp.
