Former footy star turned coach Nathan Brown has netted a huge profit on his waterfront Sutherland Shire home.
Brown, 50, retired from footy with a neck injury in 2000 and purchased the stunning property with his wife, children's fashion retailer Tanya, in 2009 for $1.69million from the Tynam family.
They have since sold the Caringbah South home for $6.6m, having rebuilt it in 2018 following fire damage.
The Browns built a three-level, five-bedroom home on the Port Hacking River, featuring a number of wraparound balconies that overlook the bay.

By the water, there is a boathouse, jerry, slip rails and a pontoon.
The former New Zealand Warriors coach tried to sell the property when 2018 for the empty home, but was unable to get the $3.75m he sought.
He attempted to sell the home again in 2022 while he was away in New Zealand. The Brown family have relocated to the Gold Coast after selling the Gannons Rd home.
Brown married Tanya Priddle in 1999 and had previously lived in Dolans Bay waterfront.
The pair met two years earlier after Brown's teammate, Mark Coyne, introduced him to his family's babysitter.
