Australian international footballer Jackson Irvine has been forced to cancel his wedding after two boozy days spent celebrating promotion.
The former Burton Albion and Hull City star, 31, captained German side St Pauli back into the nation's top flight following their 3-1 win over VFL Osnabruck on Sunday.
He was due to tie the knot with fiancée Jemilla in Denmark on Tuesday, however the worse for wear footballer forgot to take his passport to the ceremony resulting in Danish officials refusing to continue with the ceremony.
Jemilla, a tattooist, took to Instagram to share what happened, with the couple forced to postpone the do until he felt better.
'When you've been drunk for 2 days and forget to take your passport to your marriage appointment,' she posted alongside three clown emojis.
