Radamel Falcao has found a new footballing home.

The veteran marksman has secured a move to the 10th club of his senior career - almost a decade after he joined Manchester United on loan.

Falcao, 38, has described the club as 'the team of my heart'.

It comes after a three-year stint with Rayo Vallecano in Spain and a horrifying night in October when his luxury Madrid house was burgled.

The striker's new club is Millonarios FC, one of the most successful clubs in his native Colombia.

Radamel Falcao has joined Colombian side Millonarios FC after leaving Spanish side Rayo Vallecano

Falcao, now 38, played at Manchester United on loan in the 2014-15 season, scoring four goals

'Everyone knows that Millonarios is the team of my heart, of my childhood,' Falcao said.

He previously trained with Millonarios early in his career but they did not offer him a contract and he was instead picked up by Argentine giants River Plate.

Falcao, who has scored 345 goals in a career spanning back to 1999, when he made his debut for Colombian club Lanceros Boyaca aged 13, has been winding down his career in Spain.

He managed 12 goals in three seasons at Rayo Vallecano and had to deal with a traumatic break-in back in October.

El Mundo reported that several men had broken into the property while he was enjoying dinner with his family at a nearby restaurant on Saturday night.

The intruders are said to have taken designer bags, watches and some jewellery before being surprised by an employee and fleeing.
