Scottish rugby legend Stuart Hogg reportedly dropped out of hosting a 150th anniversary dinner celebrating his hometown club at late notice last week.
Hogg, 31, won 100 caps for Scotland before retiring ahead of this year's World Cup, while he was also selected for three British & Irish Lions tours.
Since retirement, Hogg has been keeping himself busy with various ventures but was set to be the master of ceremonies (MC) at a celebratory dinner last Friday honouring Hawick RFC, the club where he started his career, according to The Sun.
However, the event - which was due to take place in Roxburghshire - went ahead without Hogg after news broke on Thursday he had publicly announced his relationship with TV host and former jockey Leonna Mayor.
To add further conjecture to his new relationship, it came just a few days after his wife, Gillian Smith - who he has split from - gave birth to their fourth child.

Hogg was due to share MC duties with former Scotland star Rory Lawson, and 600 tickets were sold for the event.
The 31-year-old had also tried to raise money for the dinner by touting the charity auction on his Instagram stories just last week, but the report claims he pulled out due to fears of heckling.
It also goes on to state that it wasn't clear whether Hogg made the decision to drop out, or if he was told by organisers not to turn up.
Instead, Hogg reportedly spent the evening with his three children.
The former rugby player split from Smith just six weeks ago, and seven years on from their marriage in 2016, with the report going onto claim she is heartbroken by how quickly Hogg moved on.

Last week, he had revealed his new relationship with Mayor by sharing Instagram stories from a romantic trip to the spa.
Mayor - who was labelled the 'world's sexiest jockey' back in 2013 - now works as a racing pundit, regularly featuring on Sky's At The Races show.
Meanwhile, ahead of this season former Glasgow Warriors and Exeter Chiefs star Hogg joined TNT Sports as a rugby pundit.
