A former World Cup finalist, who was appointed manager of a ninth-tier English side this year, has been handed a five match stadium ban.
Lancashire-based side Skelmersdale United endured a torrid start to the season, having lost 15 of their opening 16 matches before searching for a new boss.
Back in October, they opted to appoint a France international, who was in the squad for the 2006 World Cup, as their new manager.
Shockingly, the Premier League cult hero, who played for Wigan, Tottenham and Sunderland didn't have any previous experience in a managerial position.
Pascal Chimbonda has had two wins since his appointment in October, and has been unable to fully recover their struggling form.

Things have gone from bad to worse for the manager now, as he has been handed a five-match stadium ban after being sent off.
Taking to Twitter, the non-league cluv reavealed: 'Pascal Chimbonda has been served with a five match stadium ban for Improper Conduct which will take effect immediately.
'This is in relation to his sending off on the 21st October 2023 during the game against Barnoldswick Town.'
They continued to reveal that despite pleading guilty to the charge, the manager had a good reason for leaving his techincal area.
'Pascal would like to state that although he pleaded guilty to the offence of leaving his technical area, he did so with the sole intention of preventing his players from getting hurt in a melee which had developed on the field of play,' they wrote.
Furthermore, the club have laucnhed an appeal in a bid to reduce the number of games that their head coach will miss.
Skelmersdale finalised: 'The club have appealed against the severity of the punishment as it doesn’t appear to be proportionate with the offence.
'Particular as his previous disciplinary record is totally unblemished. The club won’t be releasing any further statements until the outcome of the appeal.'
It remains to be seen as to whether they are successful in their appeal, with Chimbonda's assistant set to lead the team out for the next five matches.
Chimbonda's side sit bottom of the league on 11 points, five off 23rd place Burscough, but having played three more matches than their rivals.
