Police in North Wales have launched an urgent search for four teenagers who have vanished during a camping trip.

Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris, who were said to be in their late teens, were last seen getting into a silver Ford Fiesta car on Sunday morning and haven't been seen since.

The quartet are understood to have been camping near the coastal areas of Harlech and Porthmadog and could have been heading into Snowdonia. The car's registration plate is HY14 GVO.

The young men are believed to be from the Shrewsbury area and were due home from their trip on Monday morning but none of them have made contact with friends and family and their phones are all off.

They are believed to be experienced campers and had equipment with them, but the lack of contact was said to be out of character and friends said their families are 'worried sick'.
