Great Britain's Women's basketball match against Germany at the Copper Box Arena in Manchester was abandoned on Sunday after a spectator in the crowd fell ill during the game.
The incident occurred in the third term, with both sides mutually agreeing to call off the match.
According to The Sun, a spectator had 'ran onto the court' and approached the Germany bench to alert the players and medical teams that a fan in the stands had taken ill.
Medical professionals then made their way into the crowd and raised sheets around the unwell fan while providing medical care.
The outlet claims that the fan received treatment for around six minutes before being taken away on a stretcher.

A statement from the British Basketball Federation read: 'During the Great Britain Women vs Germany game (July 21st) a medical incident occurred involving a member of the general public. Following this, the decision was taken to abandon the game.
'The British Basketball Federation want to extend thanks to both Great Britain and Germany for a fantastic display of the sport, and to the fans for their support and understanding under the circumstances.
'We would also like to praise the professionalism and speed of response by the venue, medical and security teams.'
Team GB's women's side have not qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics, while Germany will take on the USA before facing off against Belgium, Japan and the USA again at the Olympics.

Germany winger Satou Sabally told The Sun: 'I hope all the best for both families affected.
'Hard times come sometimes, unfortunately it's part of sports and part of the sports world. Obviously health comes as first priority.'
