Geri and Christian Horner 'in talks to film fly-on-the-wall documentary about their personal life' after the Red Bull Racing boss was cleared of wrongdoing amid his 'sexting' scandal

Geri Horner and her husband Christian are reportedly in talks to make a fly-on-the-wall documentary in a bid to show their relationship troubles are in the past.

It is claimed the couple has been approached by a television production company which supplies to Netflix, as they plan a Beckham style documentary.

They both recently appeared in Formula One Netflix series Drive to Survive but the new show would take a look at their personal life at home.

It apparently be somewhat similar to the series filmed by Geri's former Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham, where they referenced what they meant through at the time of her husband David's alleged affair with Rebecca Loos.

It comes after Red Bull Racing boss Christian, 50, got caught up in a 'sexting' scandal with an employee and was accused of sexual misconduct.

A source told the Mirror: 'The idea that has been pitched is a really personal documentary, capturing Geri and Christian at home.

'Following the recent speculation about their relationship, there would be a huge amount of interest in seeing them together away from the race track and how they interact with their friends and family.

'Geri loved the Beckham documentary, and it was so positively received that it is easy to see why a similar show might appeal to Geri and Christian now. The off-the-cuff scenes at home between David and Victoria have completely transformed how they are viewed by people, particularly Victoria, who had the chance to show off her funny side.

'Netflix would be an obvious home for their series, if they agree to film one. But it is also possible it could spark a bidding war between firms, as there would be a massive amount of interest from viewers.'

The source added that it would give the couple a chance to show they and their children are a tight-knit family, and for Geri to talk about her children's books.

Geri, 51, and Christian share son Montague, or Monty for short, seven, together. Geri is also mother to Bluebell, 18, from her past relationship with Sacha Gervasi.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Geri and Christian for comment.

An internal investigation was carried out by Red Bull Racing prior to the 2024 season following a complaint made about Christian by a female employee at Red Bull, and Christian, who has been married to Geri since 2015, was cleared of any wrongdoing just a day before the first practice session at the Bahrain Grand Prix in February.

However, what appeared to be intimate WhatsApp exchanges allegedly sent by Christian to the female colleague were then leaked to a number of key F1 figures and the media just 24 hours later, bringing his conduct back into the spotlight.

Christian has always denied the claims by the employee and she has since been suspended from her job at Red Bull.

It was claimed last month Geri had laid down some relationship rules for Christian following the scandal.

'One is that Christian cuts or reduces contact with the woman — but that is difficult because of her role at Red Bull,' News Corp reported.

'And she has definitely had her say over what messages he sends. For obvious reasons, Geri would like the female colleague — who she knew before her appointment — to be out of the picture as much as possible.

'But they cannot sack her as there are no grounds to do so.'

However GBN has reported that Christian is not impressed with the list or his wife's apparent mistrust in him.

'Christian was initially hurt by the idea of a list of rules and said it felt like her showing distrust,' a source said.

'She insisted that while she still loves him, she has to protect herself and urged him to put himself in her shoes to understand the torment she's endured with the public humiliation and embarrassment.

'Christian eventually backed down and has agreed to do whatever it takes.'

Red Bull continues to stand by Christian who has been team principal of the team ever since his appointment in 2005.
