Geri Halliwell threw her husband Christian Horner a surprise 50th birthday party on Thursday evening, with famous face from across the world raising a glass to the Red Bull Team Principal.

Celebrities from the sporting world and music world collided for the dinner party - with the likes of Rock n' Roll legends Ronnie Wood and Sir Rod Stewart see in attendance.

Take That singer Gary Barlow was also seen tapping away at the piano as the rest of the guests serenaded Horner with choruses of happy Birthday, while R&B singer Jade Jones was seen posing for a picture with the Red Bull chief.

Horner was also presented with a three-tier birthday cake which read 'World Champion' - having won six Constructors' Championships and has already secured the 2023 title.

Famous faces from the sporting world were also in attendance on Thursday evening, with Bernie Ecclestone seen enjoying the festivities alongside his wife Brazilian Fabiana Flosi.

Horner shared an appreciation post on his Instagram after the event, writing: 'Last night my lovely wife Geri completely surprised me with a totally unexpected dinner with some lovely friends. Looks like we're forming a band.'

Meanwhile, Halliwell took to Instagram to share a series of photos with the following caption: 'A surprise belated birthday celebration for @christianhorner and the Supergroup! @officialgarybarlow, you’re amazing!'.

It comes as no surprise Horner was in a good mood as Max Verstappen secured his third consecutive Formula One world title after finishing second in a chaotic sprint race ahead of the Qatar Grand Prix on October 7.

The rampant Red Bull superstar has been untouchable this year and confirmed his dominance once and for all after his team-mate Sergio Perez crashed out of the event.

Verstappen needed to finish just sixth or above to add another championship trophy to his tally and recovered from a sluggish start to trail the eventual winner Oscar Piastri.

As a result, Verstappen became the 11th driver to reach at least three titles and just the fifth to win a hat-trick in a row, rounding off one of the most impressive seasons in history.
