Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly concerned that their star goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has become a worse player due to the influence of his 'sex-mad' fiancée.

Trapp, 33, has endured a difficult season and missed out on Germany's provisional Euro 2024 squad last week, despite manager Julian Nagelsmann naming four goalkeepers.

His form has raised fears behind the scenes that Trapp is not fully focused on football right now, with the club believing his supermodel partner Izabel Goulart is distracting the shot-stopper, according to Bild.

The German outlet reports that Trapp, who played a key role in Frankfurt's Europa League triumph in 2022, has been accused in training of no longer diving for every shot from close range.

Club insiders feel Goulart, 39, could be having a negative effect on his career, claiming she even explains to Trapp how he should get out of a car at public events so that they can have the best photos as a couple.

Trapp and Goulart have been engaged since 2018 but have not tied the knot yet

Goulart, who hails from Brazil, is most famous for being one of Victoria's Secret Angels between 2005 and 2008.

She has also worked with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Armani Exchange, and attended the Cannes Film Festival alongside fellow models Elsa Hosk, Poppy Delevingne and Winnie Harlow earlier this week.

Trapp and Goulart have been engaged since 2018, although they are yet to tie the knot.

At the start of their relationship when Trapp was playing for PSG, Goulart opened up on their sex life, claiming Trapp put a strict rule in place if his team lost.

'Kevin and I make love a lot — four or five times a week,' she said.

'But if he has played in an important game and his team loses, I can make myself beautiful, have my nails done and wear my best lingerie - and there still won’t be any sex.'

Frankfurt now appear to believe Goulart has started to have a greater impact on Trapp in recent times, leading to a dip in performances on the pitch.

Trapp has nine caps for Germany, with his latest coming in their friendly defeat by Austria in November, but he has since been overlooked and will not feature at this summer's tournament in his homeland after conceding 48 goals in 32 league games for Frankfurt this season.

Trapp's place in the Frankfurt team is also understood to be at risk ahead of next season.

Despite Trapp having a contract with the club until 2026, young Brazilian goalkeeper Kaua Santos, 21, who was signed from Flamengo last summer, is putting pressure on him for his starting berth.

Goulart regularly posts on Instagram, and has previously opened up about her sex life with Trapp

Trapp scored twice in a post-season friendly on Wednesday to end a difficult season on a high

Santos has been compared to Liverpool's Alisson, and could get the chance to move ahead of Trapp in the pecking order in the coming months.

Trapp may be struggling between the sticks, but he had no such problems when he had a surprising stint as an outfield player in a post-season friendly on Wednesday.

He came off the bench to play against local amateur side VfL Germania 1894 and scored twice in a 13-1 win.

That is very likely to be a one-off, though, and Frankfurt will be desperate for him to rediscover his best form back in goal or his days at the club may be numbered.
