Retired three-time NBA All Star Gilbert Arenas bizarrely praised Warriors forward Draymond Green for striking Suns center Jusuf Nurkic on Tuesday.

On an episode of his 'Gil's Arena Underdog Fantasy' podcast, Arenas playfully encouraged Green's unsportsmanlike behavior and urged him to continue targeting European players.

'I know what Dray doing,' Arenas said with a laugh. 'He's taking care of these Euros one at a time. The media is trying to push these Euros on us and you're choking and slapping them back. I get it, baby. Do your thing.'

'He got about six, seven more,' Arenas added.

Arenas shared the clip from the program on X, captioned: 'Dray see these Euros takin the league from our people and fighting back,' with crying-laughing emojis.

The NBA suspended Green indefinitely after striking Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face

Nurkic is the third European player to be on the receiving end of a flagrant foul from Green

On Wednesday, the NBA suspended Green indefinitely for the flagrant on his Bosnian counterpart and a 'repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts'.

A month before the incident with Nurkic, Green served a five-game suspension for putting Minnesota's French center Rudy Gobert in a headlock on November 14.

During the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Green was given a slap on the wrist after stomping on Kings big and Lithuanian national Domantas Sabonis' chest.

Former Golden State teammate, Nick Young, also alluded to Green's tendencies towards European rivals while speaking to Skip Bayless on FS1's Undisputed.

'He's more of a cheap shot guy, you know,' Young said, laughing. 'He tends to do that to a lot of Europeans. He's messing with nothing but foreigners.'

Green has become the second most-ejected player in NBA history with his 19th, trailing Rasheed Wallace's 25. He has also payed over $3million in suspension fines.

The Warriors continue to struggle with a 10-13 record and will face a momentum-filled Clippers side on Thursday without Green anchoring the paint.
