NRL superstar Reece Walsh has parted with $1.88million to purchase a luxurious Gold Coast mansion with eight bedrooms.

The lavish estate also features a stunning outdoor covered pool and a 'Florida room', which an area that comes is fully screened to allow for maximum sunlight and is ideal for entertaining guests.

Other standout features of the Federation-style property include an open-plan living and dining area, a stylish kitchen featuring an island bench and two guesthouses.

It comes as the Broncos sensation missed Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium due to a knee injury - but the 21-year-old has been named at fullback to face the Gold Coast Titans in the South-East Queensland derby on Sunday, May 26.

According to realestate.com.au, the property listing described the home as a 'superb opportunity', offering 'spacious serenity, contemporary elegance and versatile living.'

In March, Walsh reportedly signed a five-year, $5.5 million extension with the Broncos

'Recently redesigned and renewed, this residence epitomises modern elegance set against meticulously landscaped gardens,' the listing description continued.

Property records show the 1992 built home last sold for $782,000 back in 2015.

Walsh - who has a young daughter -  joined the Broncos NRL squad on a development contract in 2021.

After starring in the Queensland Cup for Norths Devils, he signed a three-year contract with the New Zealand Warriors, beginning in 2022.

In July that year, the Queensland Origin star was granted an early release from the Warriors to re-join the Broncos ahead of the 2023 season.

He cited a relationship breakdown and wanting to be closer to his daughter as the reasons for his move back to Brisbane.

In March, Walsh reportedly signed a five-year, $5.5million extension at Red Hill until 2029 - but the man himself is yet to confirm the monster deal.

It is understood Walsh’s manager is pushing for a deal worth up to $1.4million per season - a similar pay packet to what Nathan Cleary (Panthers) and Kalyn Ponga (Knights) currently are said to earn.

Walsh's current contract with Brisbane expires at the end of the 2025 season, leaving him free to go on the open market from November 1, when he can freely speak with rival NRL clubs such as the Roosters.
