Tilly Metz (Greens/EFA) will remain an MEP for the next five years despite earlier polling consistently predicting a total wipeout for the Green Party in the European Parliament.

Luxembourg’s EPP party CSV/PCS led overall with two seats, up from one in 2019, while the Liberals will drop to one seat, continuing a steady decline since they were supplanted by the conservatives in the Grand Duchy’s October 2023 election.

The Social Democratic party (LSAP/POSL) also scored one seat, meaning Marc Angel will be returning as an MEP.

Luxembourg’s sixth seat will be occupied by Luxembourg’s hard-right ADR (ECR).
