A manhunt is underway in Victoria after a man was allegedly shot in an abandoned factory before being rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to the vacant factory in Springvale, southeast Melbourne, shortly after 2.30pm on Saturday.
'It's believed the man was shot in the lower body,' a Victoria Police spokesperson said in a statement.
'He was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.'
It is understood the suspect is still at large with police unable to confirm any arrests have been made.
A crime scene has been established as detectives investigate the circumstances of the shooting.

Springvale made headlines just four weeks ago after a delivery driver was viciously attacked by a group of baseball bat-wielding thugs.
The driver, Zabih Rezai, said 10 assailants set upon his 45-year-old male passenger and the car.
Mr Rezai beaten with a baseball bat during the horror assault, leaving him with a broken arm, two broken fingers and a head gash.
