A gunman today shot dead two people before turning the weapon on himself at a law office in Las Vegas.

Shots were fired amid a deposition and the shooter killed two people before turning the weapon on himself, according to KTNV

The shooting reportedly took place at Prince Law Group, a law firm. People were also evacuated from the nearby Citi National Bank in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada.

LVMPD received a call of a shooting shortly after 10 am inside a business in the 10800 block of Charleston Boulevard.

Police are warning residents to avoid the area due to heavy police presence and the intersection is closed to traffic as the investigation is ongoing. 

Multiple people have reportedly been shot at a law firm in Summerlin, Nevada , and three have died, including the suspect

'This is a dynamic event and multiple LVMPD emergency vehicles are responding. Please avoid the area. We will have more info soon,' the department shared on X. 

'All roads near Charleston Blvd. and Pavilion Center Dr. are closed. This includes Charleston Blvd. in both directions from Red Rock Dr. past Pavilion Center Dr. Avoid Area,' LMVPD said in a recent update. 

A resident who lives close to the scene of the shooting shared the aftermath on an Instagram live and said it was a 'tense' situation. 

He said LVMPD, undercover cars, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue and Clark County Fire Department were all responding to the situation. 

The office building is near Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa.
