Terrifying footage captured the moment a teen driver on their learner licence flipped their car before crashing into a roundabout and injuring a child passenger.
The heart-stopping crash unfolded on Cobham Street at Hamilton, on New Zealand's North Island, at 1.24am on March 8.
Dashcam footage from a nearby car captured the crash and showed the white sedan gaining speed as it approached the vehicle from behind.
The vehicle then became airborne and launched over the roundabout before it spectacularly nosedived into a street sign.

The vehicle, which had four occupants including the driver, nose dived and collected a street sign before rolling at least nine times (pictured)
The car rolled at least nine times before it stopped on its roof.
One of the occupants in the vehicle with the dash cam could be heard saying: 'Holy f**k'.
She was heard directing her companion to dial the New Zealand emergency service number 111.
A New Zealand Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia there were four people in the vehicle with one seriously injured.
The three others, including the driver, had minor injuries.
The shocking footage was shared to Facebook on Saturday where Aussies were left stunned.
'I guess they can safely say that speed was a factor,' one wrote.
'This is a clear example of how excessive speed kills,' another said.
'Will they ever learn?' another wrote.
Many were also concerned that the person badly injured was a child.
The dash cam owners were shocked at what they saw and called emergency services straight away (pictured: the car rolling)
'Damn I hope that was at least a medical episode. To drive recklessly like that with a child in the car...' one said.
'What b****y idiots, especially with a child in the car,' another said.
A New Zealand Police spokesman said they could not confirm the age of the child injured and are still investigating.
'Any further police action is still being considered,' he said.
